Mosaic stones

Mosaic... From antiquity until today, it is a fascinating decoration technique. In contrast to the cut glass tesserae, the tesserae "ArtDecor" are cast in a mould and therefore always have exact dimensions. Their surface is smooth and they have a stone-like appearance. The underside of the tessera is corrugated and therefore offers more space for the glue. The tesserae are colourfast and frost-resistant, abrasion-resistant and insensitive to acids, alkalis and temperature fluctuations. The tesserae are available as a colourful mixture or as a mixture of blue, green and natural colour shades. Fragments of different sizes often make the mosaic works particularly attractive. In order to preserve these fragments, the tesserae are broken with special tools. You can use the grozing pliers (item no.2727700), the mosaic pliers (item no.8926300) or the glass mosaic cutting pliers (item no.2722400) while a light pressure of the pliers is enough to cut and the sturdy end-guard ensures safety. There are no limits to your creativity. Just choose a suitable object made of wood, metal, glass, terracotta, styrofoam, etc. If you choose the direct method, paint or copy the pattern on the object, place the tesserae directly on the part coated with mosaic glue (item no.3338500) and after drying, grout with the joint sealant (item no.1460100). Whether it is about plates, bowls, balls, pannels, pictures, figures - there are countless possibilities to stick tesserae on them. Each piece will be unique and you will be proud of it.
