Instructions in 7 steps Give away something very special with joy. Knot-by-knot and two bracelets that come from the heart are created.
Besides the articles listed below, you also need: Measuring tape, e.g. corkboard with pins for fixing, Toothpick
And this is how it works:
1

For a wrist circumference of about 17 cm

For 1 bracelet, you need 4 skeins of the cotton yarn “Stitch & Knot”: 2 × 50 cm and 2 × 1 m. The bracelet “BEST” has to be made with the second lightest colour shade of the cotton yarn and the bracelet “MOM” with the medium colour shade of the cotton yarn.
2

Step 1

Centre all 4 skeins and using the special needle for threading beads, first thread on a colour-matching glass bead, a metallic bead, the alphabet beads, a metallic bead and a glass bead of the same colour.
3

Tip:

The bracelet can be attached to a corkboard with pins, for example, then the knots can be tied much easier.
4

Step 2

For the bracelet “BEST”, make a piece with reef knots of about 4 cm at the right and left side after the threaded beads (see illustration 1) and for the bracelet “MOM”, a piece with reef knots of about 4.3 cm. Before you tie the reef knots on one side, push all the beads to the reef knots on the other side.
5

Step 3

At the end of the reef knots, tie an overhand knot (see illustration 2) and thread on a metallic bead. Then carefully apply a bit of glue for jewellery to the knot by means of the toothpick and push the metallic bead to the knot. Cut off the two knotted threads as soon as the glue for jewellery has hardened.
6

Step 4 - VerschlFinishing stage

Lay the skeins on top of each other (see picture 3). Hold firmly approx. 30 cm of the cotton yarn in the middle at about 2.5 cm of the metallic bead, tie several 1 cm long reef knots (see illustration 1). Then carefully apply a bit glue for jewellery to the end of the last reef knot (see illustration 1) by means of the toothpick and cut off the two knotted threads as soon as the glue for jewellery has hardened. Determine the position of the knot according to the circumference of your wrist.
7

Step 5

Thread a large glass Rocaille bead from the glass bead box onto each of the two skeins and fasten it with an overhand knot (see illustration 2) after approx. 4.5 cm. Cut off the remains. The heart-shaped paper-mâché box is a great gift packaging to give these bracelets away.
