    Pottery and modelling
Creative crafting is in line with current trends! Pottery and modelling is not only a creative art, but also an exciting hobby that allows you to fully express your creativity. Whether it is about art objects, pendants, plates, crockery, bowls, vases, figurines or much more - the creative possibilities are limitless.
We are offering a wide range of different products related to the topic „Modelling“, such as clay for pottery, air-drying clay, modelling compound, modelling powder and kneading clay for crafting. Depending on the material and the texture, the products differ in their features and application possibilities. However, all products have one thing in common: the pleasure of modelling!

    Clay
The clay is a ready-for-use, mouldable material, which is available in two different qualities.
On the one hand, there is the original Bodmer pottery clay, which needs to be fired in the ceramic kiln after processing and is an absolute high-quality clay for professional potters, ceramists but also for hobby enthusiasts and in schools.
On the other hand, we are offering air-drying clay, the drying out of which can be accelerated by firing it in the ceramic kiln, but which also hardens completely in the open air. This clay has a smooth and fine texture, which also enables the finest modelling of filigree figurines.

    Modelling compound
Modelling compound is ready-for-use, smooth kneading putty that is available with different characteristics and compositions. From the air-drying modelling compound available in different colours, through ultra-light modelling compound for shaping and modelling, up to modelling compound in a cool wood, concrete or stone look - any idea can be put into practice creatively, quickly and easily. The modelling compounds of Rayher are particularly pleasant to work with, versatile and air-drying.

    Papier-mâché
Most of you know papier-mâché in the form of ready-for-use item or a decorative box. But papier-mâché can also be applied in the field of creative modelling. To this end, we offer papier-mâché in a fine powdered form, which can be processed with water into a smooth modelling compound. You can then turn the papier-mâché into any shape you like. The mass is as light as wood and is particularly suitable for making puppet show figures, reliefs, masks, model making and much more. The cured object can later be carved, sawn, drilled, sanded and painted effortlessly.
