Waxed beads & glass waxed beads
Jewellery beads for an elegant look! The waxed beads made of glass or plastic are visually similar to genuine freshwater pearls and are therefore often for making necklaces and bracelets. However, waxed beads are also perfect for making Christmas beaded stars or beaded angels. Unlike genuine freshwater pearls, those are much cheaper and absolutely identical in size, colour and shape, since they are not a natural product.

The surface of the waxed beads and glass waxed beads is covered with several coats of varnish, which provides the beads with particularly elegant, silky and high-quality look. 

Glass waxed beads and plastic waxed beads can be hardly visually distinguished from each other and are both resilient and very easy to maintain. However, plastic waxed beads are a little cheaper and lighter in weight compared to glass waxed beads. Then again, glass waxed beads look somewhat more authentic than those made of plastic.

These silky, shiny beads look very much like genuine freshwater pearls and can be easily worn with almost any outfit.
