    The art of paper folding, also called origami, is an age-old tradition that originated in Japan. By simple folding square-shaped paper sheets, very peculiar two- or three-dimensional figures and shapes are created with creativity, adroitness and accuracy. And without the need to cut, rip or glue!

    What do I need for origami?
    For the origami technique, you only need the paper intended for origami. Since it is a folding technique, you do not require glue or scissors. The origami paper is available in many bright colours, sizes and also with different patterns. The special folding paper is usually cut into squares. However, for folding very special shapes, we are offering round origami folding paper sheets.

    What is origami paper?
    Origami paper consists of very special folded paper sheets that are square-shaped or round. The colourful, through-dyed paper usually has a thickness of 70 - 80 g/sqm, can be optimally folded and is though stable.

    How to use origami folding paper?
    With the origami technique, plain paper is folded into special 2- and 3-dimensional shapes, animals and figures through sophisticated art of paper folding. Any kind of animal can be achieved by paper folding: fish, crane, bird, butterfly, horse, dinosaur, frog and many other animals - nothing is impossible with origami. But also flowers, stars, ships, hearts and many other shapes are easily feasible by paper folding.
