Instructions in 5 steps Paper bag or jute pouches? Just take both of them to design your very own Advent calendar using a motif punch and clothes pegs adorned with numbers.

Besides the articles listed below, you also need: Scissors, hole punch pliers

And this is how it works:

Step 1

Fold down the top of the paper bags and punch fir trees alond the paper bag upper edge. Important: the fir tree trunk must point toward the opening. Punch through both layers of the paper.

Step 2

Cut strips out of the red paper (about 10 × 5 cm). Glue a few strips on the top of the opening.

Step 3

Punch out fir trees from a few red strips (about 10 × 5 cm), then glue the fir tree-shaped motifs and punched-out strips onto the paper bags as shown.

Step 4

Stamp the white paper, die-cut the shape and punch holes in it using hole punch pliers. Cut the twine to size and pull it through the tag.

Step 5

Fill the bags and sachets, then close them with pegs.
