Instructions in 11 steps It looks sooo appetizing - create the french macaroon-shaped soap by casting two round flat soap bars. Make the "filling layer" out of kneading-soap.

Besides the articles listed below, you also need: Kettle, cooking oil, craft sticker, kitchen scales, pot, melting pot, small plastic container, stirrers

And this is how it works:

Step 1

Melt the creative-soap in a water-bath on the stove (max. 60° - do not boil).

Step 2

After the complete melting, you can stir the desired colour and/or fragrance oil in the liquid soap. Therefore, use a wooden spatula or a teaspoon.

Step 3

Pour it dropwise.

Step 4

Fill up to one-half of the soap casting mould with the liquid soap.

Step 5

Let the soap dry well out (at least 2-3 hours, ideally one day).

Step 6

Demould the soap by a slight pressure.

Step 7

Repeat the whole process once more, because two soap pieces are needed for one macaroon.

Step 8

Mix the kneading-soap with hot water and the cooking oil, for e.g. 50 g of the kneading-soap with 20 ml of hot water and about 5ml of the cooking oil.

Step 9

Stir this mixture with a craft stick and let it rest for 10 minutes.

Step 10

Then knead the mixture well again and add some soap dye. Build together a pastry bag (without a bag) and fill it with some kneading-soap.

Step 11

Press the kneading-soap through one of the two soap pieces, then press the other one down. Your macaroon is ready.

Additional info: The soap dries or rather carries on ripening and becomes thereby firmer (two up to three weeks). Depending on the temperature and airiness, the soap can perspire. We recommend therefore to wrap the soap after its demoulding in a floral gift-foil (item no. 81 489 00). Clean the soap casting mould and the pots with hot water.
