Instructions in 20 steps The Rocailles beads in shades of blue are strung here in a very special way. A round bracelet is achieved that way. And this is how it works:
1

Step 1

For the bracelet, thread 7 Delica-Rocailles of 1.6 mm in your desired colour change and tie them together to form a ring.

A step-by-step instruction can be found in the PDF version of the craft idea. Just download it.

2

Step 2

Second row: Thread a Rocaille, skip the first Rocaille on the left after the knot, and thread through the next Rocaille. Repeat this step 3 times.
3

Step 3

From the third row, thread continuously a Rocaille into gaps. Apply colours of your choice.
4

Step 4

Repeat this step continuously.

Tip: Once the threading silk runs out, sew it up and and thread a new yarn.

5

Step 5

Thread the bracelet 16 cm long. (Keep in mind your desired length including the clasp). Then, sew the threads up and cut off the rests.
6

Step 6

For the heart-shaped pendant, cut the threading silk to 80 cm.
7

Step 7

Thread 7 petrol Delica-Rocailles on.
8

Step 8

Stairstep stitch: Thread back through the last threaded Rocaille, from left to right.
9

Step 9

Repeat this step until all Rocailles are interlinked. To strengthen further, thread back again through the penultimate and last Rocaille.
10

Step 10

Brick stitch: Thread the first Rocaille of the second row and through the Rocailles of the first row in between.
11

Step 11

Thread back through the Rocaille.
12

Step 12

Thread successively 7 Rocailles turquoise in the same manner. Thread on an edge bead petrol and thread through between the already threaded Rocailles, then thread back through the Rocaille.
13

Step 13

3rd row: Thread 1 Rocaille petrol, 6 × turquoise and 1 × petrol.
14

Step 14

4th row: Thread 1 Rocaille petrol, 3 × turquoise and 3 × petrol.
15

Step 15

Thread through 3 times in a row without Rocailles.
16

Step 16

5th row: Thread 1 Rocaille petrol, 2 × turquoise and 1 × petrol.
17

Step 17

6th row: Thread 1 Rocaille petrol, 2 × turquoise and 1 × petrol.
18

Step 18

7th row: Thread 1 Rocaille petrol, 1 × turquoise and 1 × petrol.
19

Step 19

8th row: Thread 2 Rocailles petrol, then thread through the Rocailles to the outer heart’s arch. For the loop, thread 5 Rocailles turquoise. To strengthen further, thread 3 – 4 times through this loop. Sew the threads up and cut the rest off.

Step 20

Open the small ring by means of the flat nose pliers, hook the carabiner, heart and the tassel, then close it again. Hook the small ring up to the bracelet, and attach the carabiner to it. Finally, glue the ends into the magnetic clasp with some glue for jewellery and allow it to harden for 12 hours.
