Instructions in 9 steps Make beautiful stars from a few strands of recycled yarn and wire for a wintry décor.
Besides the articles listed below, you also need: Aluminium foil, Cardboard
And this is how it works:

Step 1

Cut a total of 44 strands (about 10 cm each) from the Braidy Recycling yarn. You will need 20 cm later for the hanger.

Step 2-1

Lay the piece of yarn twofold and thread the ends of the yarn through the resulting loop.

Step 2-2

Tighten well the resulting knot on the wire star.

Tighten well the resulting knot on the wire star.

Step 3

Attach all 44 strands in this way.

Step 4

Put the wire star on the cardboard with aluminium foil. Make sure that the strands are lying next to each other.

Step 5

Then coat the yarns on one side with the textile stengthener. Allow to dry thoroughly out.

Step 6

When the wire star is dry and has solidified, take a round object with a diameter of about 9 cm, e.g. a glass, and place it in the middle of the wire star. Then, trace the contour of the glass by means of the Phantom Sketch stylus and cut out with the fabric shears.

Step 7

To hang it up, thread approx. 20 cm of Braidy Recycling yarn through the suspension eyelet.
