Instructions in 8 steps You can use the square-shaped candle casting mould for this project out of concrete. Cast the tealight holder directly in the casting mould so that you provide the adequate space for the candles later.
Besides the articles listed below, you also need: Cooking oil, paper towel
And this is how it works:
1

Step 1

In preparation place adhesive tape over all small openings of the mould and remove the hanger of the plastic ball. Afterwards place the plastic ball at the bottom of the mould with the round side facing upwards.
2

Step 2

Cut a thin stripe from the crepla sheet and affix at the inside of the mould with the help of the double sided adhesive tape. Afterwards put oil on all inside surfaces with cooking oil.
3

Step 3

Mix water and creative cement in the ratio 1 : 10, beginning with the water in a plastic bucket and adding small portions of the creative cement. Stir the mixture with a wooden craft stick, until it is a smooth and pourable compound.
4

Step 4

Now pour a small amount of creative cement into the mould and with the help of a wooden spit and dab the cement around the half plastic ball, so that the cement can spread up until the edge of the ball. Fill the mould up to the desired height (at best leaving at least 1 cm to the upper edge). Let the creative cement rest for 1 – 2 minutes, while carefully knocking against the mould, so that possible air bubbles can escape.
5

Step 5

Let the cement dry. The curing time can vary, depending on the size and temperature (best let it harden over night), then demould the form and let it fully harden(do not let it harden completely in the mould). The bowl is completely hardened and can be used after 1 – 2 days.
6

Step 6

Now the tea candle holder can be demoulded, by turning it upside down and knock the mould carefully onto the table, so that the form can loosen.
7

Step 7

The half plastic ball will not be removed, it serves as a candle dish.
8

Step 8

If desired rework the tea candle holder with sand paper.
