Instructions in 4 steps Christmas baubles do not always need to be round. With angles and edges in intense red colour and with golden stripes, they become true eye-catchers on the Christmas tree.
Besides the articles listed below, you also need: Wooden stick or paintbrush handle, Scissors
And this is how it works: 1
Step 1
Remove the hanger with a cap from the ball and insert a matching wooden stick or paintbrush handle into the opening. Paint the ball completely out with the royal red All-purpose paint by means of the widest paintbrush from the set. To dry, put the ball in a holding device (e.g. a foam brick). During the process of creation, keep the wooden stick in place inside the ball at all times. For a rich, uniform colour result, apply a second layer of the paint. Allow it to dry well out.2
Step 2
Then paint the ball, quickly and evenly, with Triple Gloss using the thin flat paintbrush from the set. Put the ball vertically into the holding device to dry in order to avoid the paint sagging. Allow it to dry well out again.3
Step 3
Stick the special double-sided adhesive tape over the vertical edges. Put carefully the decorative metal flat on the adhesive surface and press slightly on, so that the stripes are completely covered with the decorative metal. Remove the excess flakes by means of a soft paintbrush.4
