And this is how it works:
1

Crochet

DOUBLE CROCHETS

Work in spiral rounds, i.e. do not close the round with 1 slip stitch, but simply continue working. CROCHETS KNIT STITCH

Work double crochets, but do not work around the stitch on top, always stick the needle between the two V-shaped back loops of the previous round. Work in spiral rounds, i.e. do not close the round with 1 slip stitch, but simply continue working (Fig.).

2

Basket wall

Work alternately 1 normal double crochet (work this only in the back chain stitch, Fig.) and 1 double crochet in Crochet knit stitch. Work in spiral rounds, i.e. do not close the round with 1 slip stitch, but simply continue working.
3

Step 1 - Bottom

1SR RD: Crochet 6 double crochets around an adjustable thread ring (Fig.). Pull the ring by making it smaller as you tighten the end of the thread. Now continue working in spiral rounds, i.e. do not close the round with 1 slip stitch, but simply continue working. Mark the beginning of the round. From now on, continue working with crochet knit stitch.
4

Step 2

2ND RD: Work 2 double crochets in each double crochet of the previous round = 12 double crochets result.

Step 3

3RD RD: * 1 double crochet, 2 double crochets in 1 stitch, work from * 6 times = 18 double crochets result

7TH RD: 36 slip stitches by working around the stitches of the previous round. Close the round with 1 slip stitch in the 1st slip stitch (Fig.).
10

Step 8 - Basket wall

8TH RD: Work 36 double crochets by working only around the back chain stitches of the 6th round (Fig.)
