Instructions in 10 steps In a few simple steps, you can fold your own gift bags made out of plain wrapping paper. And this is how it works:

Step 1
Cut the paper (e.g. 42 cm × 30 cm).2 ![]()
Step 2
Stick the two short sides together by means of the double-sided adhesive tape and then place the “seam” centrally in front of you.3 ![]()
Step 3
Smooth out the paper to the right and left.4 ![]()
Step 4
For the bottom, fold the lower edge 5 cm upwards and then fold back.5 ![]()
Step 5
Fold the bottom two corners up to the folding line and then fold back.6 ![]()
Step 6
Pull the bottom apart.7 ![]()
Step 7
Fold the two edges of the bottom to the middle and let them overlap approx. 5 mm and stick the bottom together by means of the double-sided adhesive tape.8 ![]()
Step 8
For the side gusset, fold the two long sides of your bag inwards, then fold back and then backwards once again and back again.9 ![]()
Step 9
Open your bag and fold the two lateral parts inwards.10 ![]()
