Instructions in 9 steps Create skillfully magical little dolls to hang up.
Besides the articles listed below, you also need: Needle & sewing thread, possibly toothpick
And this is how it works: 1
Step 1
Push the raw-wood ball onto a brush tip or a suitable wooden stick.2
Step 2
Paint the raw-wood ball, to serve as a head, by means of the paintbrush from the set. You can sketch out the face as an aid with a pencil. See example template. The face: Get started with the skin-colour All Purpose paint, which you can fade a bit with the snow-white All Purpose paint. Then paint the hair and the rest of the face. For the cheeks, mix a drop of classic red paint with white paint. Allow to dry well out.3
Step 3
Thread 20 cm of the white or black jewellery cord through the eyelet of the lobster clasp. Lay the two ends of the decorative cord on top of each other and thread both ends through the little head. The blond girl: First, thread through the smaller painted ball, so that her hair is pulled back into a bun. The neck: As a spacing element between the head (raw-wood ball) and the body (soft tulle pompom), thread through a matching bead from the wooden bead mix.4
Tip:
A toothpick makes it easier to push the decorative cord through the raw-wood ball hole.5
Step 4
After that, tie a knot so that the lobster clasp gets more space to move. One knot as a spacing element is sufficient for the smallest pomponella (no bead required).6
Step 5
Tie a simple knot in the middle with the remaining decorative cord. Now, sew firmly the head and the legs separately to the inside of the pompom with a matching sewing thread. Always sew the ends of the thread.7
Step 6
Finally, thread the wooden beads from the mix as shoes and tie a knot at the desired leg length. Cut off the cord ends.8
Step 7
Blond girl: the bow on the bun is made with a ribbon which has to be attached to the decorative cord by means of a golden brass wire.9
