Duration

30 min
Instructions in 5 steps The gnomes are first cast in concrete, in black and white Raysin, and then decorated when dry with paint and mirror foil.
Besides the articles listed below, you also need: Water, mixing container, paintbrush, sandpaper if needed
And this is how it works:
1

Step 1

The casting compound should first be mixed with water according to the mixing ratio indicated. Then divide the casting compound equally in the casting mould. However, it should not be filled to the brim to demould it easier later.
2

Step 2

Once dry (the drying time depending on the casting material), you can demould your first gnome. If necessary, sand its rear side slightly. Leave your gnome to dry completely before designing it, preferably for several days.
3

Step 3

Once completely dry, you can decorate the black gnome with the white acrylic paint.
4

Step 4

To apply the mirror foil, first spread the foil glue on the gnome. Allow to dry. The foil glue become clear when dry, but remains sticky.
5

Step 5

Place the mirror foil over the areas covered in glue, press it down firmly and remove it.
