Instructions in 12 steps In order to achieve a perfect moulding result, you must sieve the dry concrete before mixing it with water. Thus small stone residues are removed. Decorate the finished bowl with decorative metal flakes and template motif.
Besides the articles listed below, you also need: Cooking oil, sandpaper, brush, pebbles, vessel to stir the cement, pad made of Crepla or cardboard
And this is how it works:
1

Step 1

To start the preparation, put the larger casting mould “Circle” on a solid and even surface, so that it doesn’t wiggle and coat its inside with cooking oil. The smaller circle-casting mould must be well coated on the outside with cooking oil.
2

Step 2

In order to remove the larger pebbles from the cement, you should sieve about 350 g of the cement powder before mixing with water, through an ordinary household sieve.
3

Step 3

Pour about 23 ml of water (once the cement is sieved, the mixing ratio is changing according to the instructions on the package) in a plastic bucket and then gradually add about 150 g of the creative-cement powder. Stir this mixture until an uniform and castable mass is obtained.
4

Step 4

Fill the casting compound in the prepared larger circle-casting mould (pour not quite up to the top!). Allow the mass to rest for about 1-2 minutes. Hint: to reduce the air bubbles in the cement-casting compound, at first put one side of the smaller circle-casting mould on the casting compound and then put the rest of the mould slowly with a slight pressure. Once the whole casting mould has been placed, you can push it with a slight pressure and carefully align it back and forth. After that, weigh down the casting mould with the pebbles.
5

Step 5

Let it dry overnight.
6

Step 6

The next day, you can demold a part of the object. Firstly, demold carefully the smaller circle-casting mould by bending and pulling upwards slightly from all sides. Once the casting mould has been entirely removed from the casting object, let it dry again for a few hours.
7

Step 7

Then you can remove the rest of the casting object from the mould by upturning the casting mould on the pad made of crepla or cardboard and then press slightly with the palm of the hand on the casting object, so that the air penetrates between the casting object and mould. Tap the casting mould gently on your pad, so that the cement-object becomes entirely detached from the mould.
8

Step 8

For the lid of the jewellery box, prepare once again the smaller circle-casting mould by coating it once more with cooking oil. Then stir again 100 g of the sie-ved creative cement with approx. 15 ml of the water, as described above, and pour the stirred cement mass into the large circle-casting mould. The demoulding process and the drying time as described at the bottom of the can.
9

Step 9

Allow to harden. The curing time varies depending on the size and the temperature (one to several days).
10

Step 10

Small burrs and irregularities you can grind with sandpaper.
11

Step 11

For a sophisticated look, you can further decorate the box with the shiny deco-metal. Therefor, for example, make a stripe with a brush around the lid and the interior of the box using the deco-metal milk, allow it to dry and then lay the golden deco-metal flakes on. Press them with a brush and wipe off the residues with a soft tissue. Thereafter, coat all over with the gloss varnish.
12

Step 12

You can achieve a great effect by decorating the lid with one more original stencil motive. Therefor, apply the stencil motive with the MyStyle-colour accor-ding to the package information leaflet and allow it to dry.
