Instructions in 9 steps Decorative stones made of concrete and Raysin – nicely painted in a modern golden and elegant black & white look.
Besides the articles listed below, you also need: aluminium foil, vessel for mixing, kitchen scales
And this is how it works: 1
Step 1
Mix 450 g of Raysin 200 according to instructions, mix it evenly and pour out four stones in the casting mould. After about 1 hour, you can turn the mould upside down and demould the stones.2
Step 2
Then mix 100 g of creative-cement according to instructions and pour out a stone (from the stones in the middle of the casting mould). The next day, demould the stone out of cement.3
Step 3
Allow all stones to dry thoroughly out for several days. Smooth the resulting stone edges with sandpaper.4
Step 4
Paint the second biggest and the smallest stone with the black All Purpose paint. For the first biggest stone, use the gold Extreme Sheen paint. Repeat the paint application several times. Allow them to dry well out.5
Step 5
Cut out the desired motif from the screen printing stencil and peel off the backing paper from the stencil. Place the motif in the middle.6
Step 6
Stretch the stencil slightly over the surface of the stone and rub it firmly with your fingers. The applied motif should not form any creases, should lie fully on the surface and should be snug-fitting to the surface shape of the stone.7
Step 7
Now spread, quickly and evenly, the white Chalky Finish paint over the motif by means of the paintbrush.8
Step 8
After stenciling, carefully remove the stencil sideways and clean it immediately with water. Let the stone dry well out.9
