Instructions in 7 steps Fretwork will never lose its popularity. And with our feeding station for titmice and other birds, you also contribute to the well-being of the birds.
Besides the articles listed below, you also need: wide sellotape, pencil, ruler
And this is how it works: 1
Step 1
Transfer the template sheet “Meisenhaus” (“Titmouse birdhouse”) with a pencil, ruler and transfer paper onto the plywood board. Screw the fretsaw board with a clamp onto the working table according to the instructions and clamp the scroll fretsaw blade into the fretsaw. Saw the titmouse birdhouse out of the plywood board along the recorded lines.2
Step 2
For the circle, in order to be able to hang up a titmouse fat ball later, pre-drill a hole with the gimlet hand drill, through which you clamp the scroll fretsaw blade again. Then saw out the circle along the recorded line.3
Step 3
Unclamp the scroll fretsaw blade and drill out the two spots for the wire by means of the gimlet hand drill. Sand the sawn titmouse birdhouse and the circle smoothly with sandpaper.4
Step 4
Now apply the glaze varnish in the desired colour on both sides with the painting sponge. Then let it dry well out.5
Step 5
Then use the fan paintbrush to apply the strong, matching Chalky Finish colour shade (with little paint on the paintbrush). Always wipe in the same direction. Let it dry well out.6
Step 6
Glue the chosen number, taken from the stencil typeface 2, onto the plywood board by means of the sellotape and apply the Chalky Finish paint with the stencilling brush.7
