Instructions in 6 steps Chalky Finish paint for glass and silver mirror effect foil turn plain glass baubles into one-of-a-kind Christmas tree decorations. And this is how it works:
1

Step 1

At first, take off the hanger of the glass sphere gently. Put the sphere onto a round wooden stick.
2

Step 2

Wrap some masking tape around the wooden stick so that the “sphere neck” is more or less firmly fixed. This facilitates the painting and the drying.
3

Step 3

Dab the glass sphere with a Chalky Finish for glass in a white, light-grey or azure blue colour by using the sponge stamp. Then, let the paint dry well.
4

Step 4

At the upper part of the glass sphere, put on the glue for foil. By using the fineliner tip of the adhesive, it can be easily applied to the appropriate places. Allow the glue for foil to dry about 1 ½ - 2 hours until it becomes transparent and remains tacky.
5

Step 5

Then put the mirro-foil on. The foil has to be laid up with the metallic side. Press well on the foil, rub it a little bit and take it off again. This step can be repeated at small gaps.
6

Step 6

Once the mirror-foil is affixed, the sphere should be taken down from the wooden stick and the hanger mounted again.
