Besides the articles listed below, you also need: Hot-melt glue, scissors, light bulb E27
And this is how it works:
1

Step 1

Start by winding the rope around the top ring of the lampshade, near the longitudinal brace. To do this, glue the beginning of the corn husk rope using hot-melt glue, by overlapping it from the back. Press well together and wait until the glue has cooled down.
2

Step 2

Now pull the rope downwards, parallel to the brace at the front and wind it one and a half times around the lower ring. Then pull the rope up from the back and wind it up one and a half times so that you can pull it down again from the front.
3

Step 3

Repeat these windings until all the gaps are covered.
4

Step 4

Secure the end of the rope in place, using hot-melt glue, on the last winding and against the opposite rope.

Tip: If you need a new corn husk rope, glue the beginning and end of the rope at a barely visible spot using hot-melt glue.

5

Step 5

Weave the sisal rope several times through the outer strands of the corn husk rope in the bottom third.
6

Step 6

As a final step, fit the lampshade to the lamp base, screw on the shade holder tightly and screw in the light bulb.

Tip: If the corn husk rope ever untwists during winding, secure it in place using hot-melt glue.
