Instructions in 4 steps You'll need a small blank cotton tote bag, template with circles and the glitter paint for this dotted bag.
Besides the articles listed below, you also need: Working mat, masking tape, paper towel, cardboard
And this is how it works: 1
Step 1
Put the prewashed (without using fabric softener) and then ironed cotton bag on the working mat. In order to prevent paint bleedthrough, insert a cardboard in the size of the bag.2
Step 2
Spray the rear side of the paper template with the nonpermanent spray adhesive. Allow the template to flash off briefly and place it centrally and press on all over evenly. To cover the rest of the bag, stick a piece of paper towel on each of the four sides by means of the masking tape. Thus no unwanted spray mist gets on the bag.3
Step 3
Shake the paint well and spray it first to test, for example on a piece of paper towel. You can ensure an even paint distribution by spraying and moving simultaneously the arm over the cotton bag (at a distance to the fabric of approx. 20 cm). Spray the upper dots of the template with the crimson red fabric spray paint and the lower dots with the black fabric spray paint. Remove the template immediately and let the paint dry well out.4
