And this is how it works: 1
Step 1
First tape the rim of the lid with the masking tape.2
Step 2
Then paint the surface with the wide flat paintbrush and the white Chalky Finish paint and let the paint dry well out.3
Step 3
The rainbow must be drawn in the middle of the lid, then painted with the three Chalky Finish pastel paints by means of the round paintbrush. Optionally, you can draw the rainbow on a piece of paper and then use the paper motif as a template and carefully transfer it onto the lid with a pencil.4
Step 4
For a fine pinkish edge, tape the casket again with the masking tape above and below the edge to be painted. Use a narrow flat paintbrush to paint it. Then let it dry out.5
Step 5
Finally, paint the bottom of the box with the white Chalky paint.Tip: To avoid flecking the hinges and the lock when painting, you can unscrew them carefully and then screw them back on again.
