Your beads are threaded on a wire and how to attach now the clasp to the wire? This is where the clamshell bead tip comes into play!
Jewellery wire cannot simply be knotted into the eyelet of the clasp, so you need a clamshell bead tip per side as a connecting piece.
Firstly, thread the clamshell bead tip onto the wire, so that the hook faces toward the end of the wire. Then thread a crimp bead onto the wire and fix it with the pliers! If the wire is too long, you can cut it off. Now slide the clamshell bead tip over the crimp bead and squeeze the clamshell bead tip with pliers! Hang one side of the clasp on the hook and squeeze the hook with the pliers! Do the same for the other side.
