casting mould: round shelf

This three-part casting mould made of highly transparent dimensionally stable PET plastic has been especially developed for the production of a 3-tier cake stand. You can cast the round plates either from creative-concrete (item no.34153000) or Raysin (item no.3410302). For the recommended filling height of 0.5 cm, you will need approx.1200 g of creative-concrete or approx.1100 g of Raysin for all 3 plates. The finished plates have diameters of 13 cm, 18.5 cm and 25 cm. Detailed instructions are enclosed with the casting mould. The moulds are reusable. It is important that you coat well the mould with cooking oil before filling it. You can either drill the holes later for the cake stand holder with a ceramic drill (ø 6 mm, e.g. item no.36 068 000) or you can fill it in as it is. To do this, wrap once 3 round rods (e.g. wooden rod ø 6 mm, item no.6411300) with the adhesive tape and place them in the middle of the casting moulds using a cross-shaped holder made out of adhesive tape. You can get the matching kit for the intermediate pieces in our shop ("Vintage" under item no.34238000 or "Classic" under item no.34237000). Wooden beads or balls out of modelling clay are suitable as a stand for the cake stand. You can adorn the ready-for-use plates as you wish: you can paint and stencil them with the acrylic paint, decorate them with the deco-metal or mirror foil and much more.
