Instructions in 8 steps To cast this concrete shape, use the house-shaped wooden frame and tape it carefully so that you can remove the concrete. For the label "Home", use foam rubber letters, which you affix in the casting mould and then pour over with concrete paste.
Besides the articles listed below, you also need: Cooking oil, paper towels, Adhesive tape (for corners and edges), Cutting knife or scissors
And this is how it works: 1
Step 1
Mask the bigger inside surfaces of the wooden frame “house” clean and evenly with the self adhesive foil. Carefully mask the corners and edges with the adhesive tape. The wooden house is perfectly prepared, when all the inside surfaces are masked with adhesive foil or tape and the adhesives overlap as little as possible. The more accurate the masking is done, the evener the cement house will be at the end.2
Step 2
Afterwards place the crepla letters “home”, with the help of the double sided adhesive tape mirror inverted on the desired location of the wooden frame.3
Step 3
Now oil all the inside surfaces oft he house, including the crepla lettets with the cooking oil.4
Step 4
Fill a plastic bucket with approximately 400 ml of water, afterwards add small portions of approximately 4 kg of creative cement. Mix the mixture with a wooden crafting stick until the mixture is smooth and pourable.5
Step 5
Pour the mixture into the prepared mold until it reaches the desired height (at best leave 1cm to the top). Let the creative cement rest for 1-2 minutes, while carefully knocking against the mold, so that possible air bubbles can escape.6
Step 6
Let it fully harden. The curing time can vary, depending on the size and temperature (best let it harden over night). The bowl is completely hardened and can be used after 1-2 days.7
Step 7
Now the hardened object dan be demolded, by turning the mold upside down and carefully knocking it against the table, working with light pressure from the outside (e.g. at the bottom), thereby loosening the cement house from the mold.8
