Instructions in 7 steps The crochet bottom comes with ready-made lateral holes. Insert double crochet stitches into the holes one by one, following the row. Continue crocheting round after round until your tray takes shape.

Besides the articles listed below, you also need: Scissors, ruler, cotton darner needle, paintbrush

And this is how it works:

Step 1

Paint the wooden bottom with paint. Allow to dry.

Step 2

Crochet double crochet stitches in the holes using yarn and a crochet hook while increasing one stitch at each corner.

Step 3

Crochet around 3 rounds in double crochet stitch, working in the knit-look crochet stitch.

Step 4

Knit-look crochet stitch: Work double crochet stitches, but do not work into the stitch itself; instead, always insert the crochet hook between the two V-shaped legs of the stitch from the previous round.

Step 5

In the 4th round, work 14 chain stitches across the center of both shorter sides, leaving the stitches underneath unworked. The resulting chain spaces will later form the carrying handles. Insert the starting chain into the edge once more and continue working in rounds, using double crochet stitches in the knit-look crochet stitch.

Step 6

In the last round, crochet double crochet stitches into the back loop only. Then cut the yarn and hide the yarn ends by weaving them in.

Step 7

Cut the suede scraps to the required size, punch the holes using hole punch pliers, then place the two scraps measuring 8 × 9 cm around the handles and stitch the edges together. Using strands separated from the Braidy yarn as sewing threads, firmly sew the small scrap in the middle of the long side.
