Duration

Instructions in 6 steps Pour in the white Raysin first and then a glob of the black one to create a pretty marbled pattern by swirling a wooden dowel around in the casting compound.
Besides the articles listed below, you also need: Water, mixing vessel, wooden dowel, sandpaper if necessary
And this is how it works:
1

Step 1

In the first place, mix the white casting powder Raysin with water as per instructions. Distribute the casting compound evenly into the individual cavity-like depressions of the casting mould.
2

Step 2

Then quickly mix and stir the black Raysin as per instructions, and pour in a hazelnut-sized scoop into each cavity-like depression.
3

Step 3

To get the marbled effect, gently swirl a wooden skewer around in the casting compound to create it. Make sure that the wooden skewer extends all the way to the bottom of the mould so that the marble effect is also achieved on the top surface of the stone.
4

Step 4

After drying for about 60 minutes, the stones can be demoulded.
5

Step 5

To even out any unevenness and to bring out the marble effect, work with some sandpaper until the stones are quite smooth. Each stone motif is thus clearly defined.
6

Step 6

Allow your artwork pieces to harden well, for several days at best.
