Instructions in 9 steps Packaging and contents in DIY way. Cast the candle with wick inside a tealight glass holder. Adorn the papier-mâché box with Chalky Finish paint, stickers and natural raffia.

Besides the articles listed below, you also need: Wax melting pot, Heart out of kneading-cement

And this is how it works:

Step 1

Paint the lid of the paper-mâché box with the white Chalky Finish. Let it dry well out.

Step 2

Punch afterwards a circle out of the Kraft coloured card with the motif-puncher and stamp the motif Butterfly on it.

Step 3

Then affix the stamped circle onto the lid by means of the double-sided adhesive tape.

Step 4

Cut a strip in a size of 2 × 29.5 cm out of the white card and put it as a border around the box. If necessary, affix the border with some double-sided adhesive tape too.

Step 5

Glue a sticker onto it and decorate at last the box with for e.g. the natural raffia, sticker, heart out of kneading-cement.

Step 6

For the candle in glass holder, melt the wax pellets according to the instructions.

Step 7

Affix the lower tip of the wick onto the glass bottom with the adhesive wax button. Lay the wooden skewer crosswise onto the glass rim and fasten the lower tip of the wick concentric by means of some sellotape. Pour slowly the wax into already prepared glass and let it cool down completely. If a small crater appears, pour it once again.
