Productdetails
Draw or stamp - colourise - cut - bake - ready!
1. Draw with a crayon or a waterproof felt-pen a motive on the matt, raw side of the foil or stamp it with the stamp pad „Staz on“ and afterwards colour it with crayons. Hint: the tones are more intensive while the shrinking process.
2. Then cut the element accurate. You can also use motive punchers, motive scissors or a rotary cutter for the external design. If you want to hang the element up later, pierce it with a ticket punch or a whole punch. The whole will be more than the half smaller while shrinking.
3. Preheat the baking oven up to 125°. In presence of an adult, place the shrinking foil (coloured side above) on a baking sheet covered with aluminium foil. The plastic foil arches and rotates. Wait until the element is flattened. The element stays bendable until it cools down.
4. When the element shrank completely after approx. 40 seconds, take it out of the baking oven and load it for a short moment, e.g. with a book, to flatten it completely. When the element got hard, it is considerably smaller (approx. 40 %) and as well thicker and more solid.
