Instructions in 7 steps Melt the beeswax pellets like chocolate in a water bath and pour into a candle mould. The scent of candles made from pure beeswax has a pleasantly soothing effect.
Besides the articles listed below, you also need: Kitchen scales, Saucepan, Thermometer
And this is how it works: 1
Step 1
For beeswax candles, use the round wick (item no. 31 009 00). Fix the wick in a suitable candle casting mould according to the instructions.2
Step 2
Pour water into the saucepan and heat it up.3
Step 3
Fill the the wax melting pot with the wax pellets weighed out and put it in the hot water bath to melt.4
Step 4
Take the wax melting pot out of the hot water bath. Pour the molten wax carefully and evenly into the already prepared casting mould (to about 3mm below the edge) and then leave it to cool down (for about one day).5
Step 5
When the wax cools down, a small dimple often appears in the middle of the candle, which can be filled up by refilling (step 1-3).6
Step 6
Loosen the knot from the wick and carefully pull the cooled candle out of the casting mould by the wick. If the candle cannot be easily demoulded, place the candle casting mould in the freezer for a short time.7
