
Instructions in 5 steps Candles are quickly self-cast, then placed on a tray and decorated with a few sprigs of eucalyptus. And if desired, a pretty colourful candle can be obtained by adding colour pigment to the liquid wax.
Besides the articles listed below, you also need: Stove, candle wax melter, scissors, cotton darner needle

Step 1
Take the cotton darner needle to pierce a small hole in the middle of the bottom of the silicone casting mould and pull the wick through the resulting hole. Then lay the mould flat on a stable surface.2 ![]()

Step 2
Place the metal wick holder over the opening of the casting mould and insert the other end of the wick into the hole of the wick holder.3 ![]()

Step 3
Melt about 190 g of wax pellets per candle in a bain-marie (Prior to this, please carefully follow the instructions for melting wax, as there is a risk of burns!).Tip: To dye the candle, add the colour pigment to the melted wax and mix well. Carefully pour the liquid wax into the mould. Flüssiges Wachs vorsichtig in die Form gießen. Tip: The mould can be filled to different height levels.

Step 4
Let it cool down thoroughly - A sinkhole may occur while cooling down, which can be evened out by pouring in more wax. Allow the wax to cure fully. Take out the wick from the holder and carefully remove the silicone casting mould.5 ![]()
