Step 1
Using decoupage glue, stick the pink confetti onto the lower-third of the egg, overlapping them slightly.2 ![]()

Step 2
To make the beak, place a pink confetti folded into a triangular shape on top of an orange confetti (medium orange shade) of the same triangular shape, and to make the comb, apply the same layering, but with confetti cut into an oval shape.3 ![]()

Step 3
Use the black acrylic paint to draw eye dots.Tip: Leave unpainted a small bean-shaped spot inside each eye. It makes the eyes look more natural. Glue the comb- and beak-shaped confetti onto the egg together with the feathers as wings.

Step 4
Use the baker’s twine to make the legs. To do this, take two pieces of twine, each about 50 cm long, fold them in half and tie their ends together. One end is securely fixed in place, while at the other end you need to insert a stick, e.g. a pencil, and turn the twine while pulling gently on it until it starts to wind itself up. Then bring the ends together (held under gentle tensile traction) in the middle and twist the twine until a cord is formed.5 ![]()

Step 5
Then slide a wooden ball on the end of each cord using a needle and if necessary, secure them in place with some glue. Glue the legs on the egg.6 ![]()

Step 6
For confetti string, glue 2 confetti on top of each other by spacing them evenly on the baker’s twine.7 ![]()

Step 7
Shape a tuft of grass fibre into a nest and attach it to the wire ring using hot-melt glue.8 ![]()
