And this is how it works:

Step 1

Roll out the salt dough to a thickness of at least 4 mm.

Step 2

Using the wooden heart-pattern roller, decorate part of the salt dough with a heart-shaped motif.

Step 3

Cut out the motifs using cookie cutters and pierce them on top with a wooden spit in order to create a hanging hole. Allow them to dry out, weighing them down with a flat object to ensure remaining them flat.

Step 4

Shape the salt dough into small balls and pierce carefully a hole through each one using a wooden spit. Allow to dry.

Step 5

Insert a piece of yarn through each ball and knot it in order to hang them up.
