Instructions in 9 steps Turn a simple wood slat wall panel into a special memo board with Chalky Finish paint and decorative paper-mâché. And this is how it works:

Step 1

Prime the two upper and lower bars of the frame with the sponge for painting and the white Chalky paint.

Step 2

Now wipe, with different levels of intensity, the upper and lower white primed bars with the salmon pink Chalky paint.

Step 3

Paint the second bar from below with the blackberry paint by using the brush.

Step 4

Cut out squares of 6.5cm out of the deco-mâché paper.

Step 5

Paint in white the natural-coloured pegs by using the brush.

Step 6

Once the white bar has dried out, you can put the paper on uniformly by using the Decoupage glue. Therefor, spread the glue on and lay the paper on wrinkle-free. Smooth it down with a finger.
