Soft glass-mosaic stone mixture

Soft glass tesserae are glued with mosaic glue and grouted with sealant. Another new technique is to use Soft Glass tesserae with jewellery-concrete. Soft glass mosaic has a shiny, transparent, curved surface with, unlike other glass tesserae, rounded corners and edges. On its underside, the glass is coloured and has a white coating. The content of the can is sufficient for an area of approx. 27 x 27 cm. You get Soft Glass tesserae in the dimensions of 1 x 1 cm, 2 x 2 cm and polygonal (irregular shapes), each 4 mm thick. The bright colourful assortment provides the most beautiful patterns possible. Soft Glass - tesserae are weather/UV resistant as well as frost resistant. They can therefore be used outdoors without any problems and also exposed outside during the winter. Required accessories: the mosaic frost-resistant adhesive (3338500), sealant (1460100) or jewellery-concrete (34166000), spatula and sponge. Here is how to apply the sealant: first lay your motif, then stick each single tessera to the surface with the mosaic adhesive. Allow them to dry well out! Spread the mixed mosaic sealant over the mosaic pattern. Remove the sealant from the stones by wiping them with a damp sponge. This is how it works with the jewellery-concrete: cast a mould out of jewelllery-concrete and insert the colourful Soft Glass tesserae into the still wet compound. Make sure that the mould is not poured too deeply so that the tesserae do not pile up in the compound.
